2022 ...Another association — what for?

Events observed between August and December 2022
We are witnessing a scenario as unusual as it is bewildering within our campsite's community life. Those of us who have been here for years remember that, despite varying views and disagreements, assemblies and day-to-day matters had always proceeded along channels of mutual understanding and respect. However, following the General Assembly of August 2022, something began to break down in an orchestrated manner.
Dynamics never seen before came onto the scene: aggressive interruptions, unfounded accusations, and a deliberate attitude from certain recent members aimed at disrupting our associative structure rather than building upon it.
Perplexity grew when we realized that this strained atmosphere was not an isolated occurrence. In parallel, and in a sequence of events hard to dismiss as mere coincidence, we began to suffer a clear and gradual neglect of common services by the Administrator:
Notable shortcomings in street and bin cleaning.
The progressive disappearance or neglect of the internal transport service ("gua-gua").
A worrying lack of basic maintenance and infrastructure care across the complex.
And right there, amidst that vulnerability and with local frustration running high over the campsite's management, came the surprise: the maneuver to set up a second association.
The birth of this new group did not come with a transparent project or a desire to join forces with the existing association. It arrived wrapped in a campaign of rumors, direct smear tactics, and insults against the residents' representatives, casting doubt on management and circulating narratives that served only to divide the community.
One must ask whether we are facing a simple grassroots initiative or a carefully planned scheme. Splitting our representative strength precisely when a united and firm front was most needed against the Administrator and Capfun raises serious questions about who truly benefits from this confusion.
For a management under scrutiny, it is infinitely more advantageous to negotiate with a fragmented community mired in internal conflict than to face a solid, cohesive opposition.
This entry remains recorded in the log as a testament to the bewilderment of those months: the outbreak of hostility, disinformation used as a tool, and the uncomfortable suspicion that the creation of that other association was, from its inception, designed to neutralize the collective strength that had always protected us.
