...raising the flag of dignity (August 2005)
The accumulated frustration over opaque management found its outlet in August 2005, bringing owners' discontent to light in what was, in all likelihood, one of the first major rallies in our association's history. That protest marked a key milestone in defending the rights of the complex's co-owners.
Armed with fairness on their side, banners were carried around the area displaying messages that time has shown to be prescient: "Justice and respect for co-owners. Out with Costa Cálida", "Less defamation and more administration", "Court rulings are meant to be complied with", "Common areas belong to everyone", and "Keep business separate from the community".
These snapshots from 2005 capture that firm stand in the streets—the moment residents decided to step forward and demand a transparent, honest management truly dedicated to serving the people who sustain the complex.
